Preparing puppy packs

With just two weeks until they depart, we have begun putting together the puppy packs for our current litter.
We do this to help ensure a smooth transition into their new home, and to keep the stress to a minimum for the puppies.
We include things like vouchers for Royal Canin puppy food and Lyka fresh food, so that the puppies can continue on the same diet once they arrive home with their new families. We dont want any upset tummies!
We also make sure we put in a blanket or toy that has been shared with the litter before the puppies have all left. While this may seem strange to some - to be given what appears to be a pre-used hairy blanket - this smells like the puppy's mum and siblings, and can be of great comfort in those first few nights in their new surroundings.
